Continuing the build up to their eagerly awaited debut EP, The Mountain Of Gold, London metal trio URNE have shared more details of the EP. Confirming the full tracklisting for The Mountain Of Gold, the EP is comprised of four tracks of some of the best metal you will have heard all year. The EP is capped off by the closer “The March Towards The Sun”, which features a guest appearance from Architects and Sylosis axeman Josh Middleton, who has also produced the record.
URNE was formed from the ashes of popular stoner / groove metal group Hang The Bastard by Joe Nally and Angus Neyra, who were keen to continue working together after Hang The Bastard called it a day. Joe and Angus recruited drummer Richard Wiltshire to complete their line up, and from their base in South London, their debut EP, The Mountain of Gold has been expertly crafted. As mentioned above, The Mountain Of Gold has been produced and mastered by Josh Middleton, while Stray From The Path’s Craid Reynolds also contributed to engineering duties by working on the drumming on the EP.
The first single from the EP is the heavy hitting “Dust Atlas”, which serves as a perfect introduction to what URNE are all about.
URNE’s debut EP, The Mountain Of Gold, will be self-released by the band on the 27th of July 2018.
