We sat down with Lightscape earlier this month and asked the band a few quickfire questions and had a little catch up.
The bands EP ‘Circles’ was released on the 1st December

How did the band form? The band formed initially with Sam and Jimmy jamming together, they found me (Will) via and advert and we began writing songs. Ben joined shortly after recording the first ep and Christy joined a few months later.
What’s been the highlight of the band’s career so far?Probably winning a competition to play at the European bike week in Austria. Harley Davidson were the main sponsor and ran a competition for a slot on the main stage. We had such a wicked time and were so well looked after by the Harley team.
What festival would you love to headline in the future? For me personally, it would have to be reading and leeds. I feel like it’s our perfect target audience and is the ultimate dream.
Which bands are you digging at the moment?Don Broco’s new material is really impressive, we’ve all been talking about them in rehearsals etc. I’ve got royal bloods album on repeat recently!
What’s the plan for 2018?First half of the year we will be pushing the new ep in a big way, playing as many gigs as we can. I think we will be back in the studio around summer time and will release our next ep towards the end of the year. Keep that ball rolling!
Do you have any weird rituals before going on stage?I don’t think so, if it’s a big gig we have been known to group hug, but that’s about it!
What’s been your biggest inspiration as an individual and as a band?My biggest inspiration as an individual is watching other bands doing their thing and having a great time doing it. It inspires me to do the same.
What’s your favourite venue to play and why ?At the moment, I would have to say open in Norwich. It’s become our regular venue for hometown gigs and we always love playing there.
What album is the one album you listen to at least once a week?I don’t know really, I’m a bit fickle with music, if I really like an album, I tend play it to death and then leave it for ages as I’m sick of it. The album I usually come back to all the time is futures, by jimmy eat world.
